We're still collecting donations

On the 31st March 2022 we'd raised £40 with 3 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

The average London ticket price paid was £52.17 in 2019 (up 5.8% from 2018)*.

This makes theatre an unaffordable luxury for many young people. Priced out, a generation of future theatre audiences and artists could be lost.

You can rewrite the script. Pay it forward: Support our projects to provide FREE and £5 tickets to local young people in 2022.

"I found a new type of happiness, one I didn't expect"

Any donations in excess of our £1,000 target will go towards total costs of our free and affordable ticket schemes:

  • Schools Programme: £5 tickets for state school groups, with workshops and Q&As with the play’s cast and creatives. We want to reach 560 people in 2022 with a total cost of over £8,400.
  • No Empty Seats: £5 tickets for under 26s who book on the day of the performance, we want to 500 people in 2022 with a total cost of over £7,500.

Whatever you can give, thank you for opening up the world of theatre at "the most important theatre in East London" (Time Out).

"It taught and encouraged me to not hold certain things in and embrace black excellence"

"The pre-show workshop was amazing, it helped me to understand the story better. The themes highlighted in the workshop made the performance itself clearer"

"I was able to express my feelings about everything and I worked out different ways of handling things"

"It gave me a positive impact as it shows me I can be whoever I want to be without others shutting me down"
