We're still collecting donations
On the 28th October 2020 we'd raised £4,340 with 50 supporters in 19 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Our aim is to purchase a suitable hardy marquee, which would cover the existing patio – 5m x 12m. To include heating, lights and seating.

On the 28th October 2020 we'd raised £4,340 with 50 supporters in 19 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Any extra money would be spent on useful accessories for the marquee/pavilion project, for example extra seating, heating, flooring etc. If lucky enough to receive more funds, then improvements to the sporting side of the pavilion.
MARQUEE – THAT SHOULD COVER IT!
The success of the activities at the Pavilion has basically meant that we are running out of space! We have a great mixture of sport, social events and the very popular café all vying for room in what is a small pavilion.
Through Crowd Funding, can you help us to buy a marquee and get the patio area covered?
Our aim is to purchase a suitable hardy marquee, which would cover the existing patio – 5m x 12m. To achieve this we are asking you, through Crowd Funding, to helps us raise £4,240 by late October. To maximise its use during the winter months.
This will enable the purchase of a marquee, plus all the winter weather protection, new electrics, new guttering and drainage, plus seating areas and heaters.
This extra room will benefit all aspects of the pavilion life, with more social events and of course the Café Crowd… it will become a community asset, useable for village events such as the annual Village Bash held in July.
The team assisting in this project are Tim and Richard from S&SC and Bev and Ben from the Cafe, all bringing different skills to the table but with just one goal in mind... the success of the project and community spirit that results in our success.
For any kind of donation we will be very grateful and would like to offer something in return to show our appreciation. For example:
