The Prize
WIN A PAUL WELLER & BAND SIGNED DRUM SKIN - SUMMER TOUR 2026
ENTER THE PRIZE DRAW TO WIN AN EXCLUSIVE ONE OFF SIGNED DRUM SKIN BY PAUL WELLER & HIS BAND WHO HAVE BEEN TOURING IN THE UK IN THE SUMMER OF 2026
The prize was signed backstage at the Paul Weller concert that took place at Bedford Park on the 5th July 2026 by -

The target is to raise £500 for the crowdfunding campaign to secure the key archive required to complete the documentary film ‘Danny Thompson - 70 Years of Serving The Song‘.
Minimum required for the Prize Draw to be activated is £250
The Prize campaign will close on Friday 7th August 2026
The prize will be delivered shortly after the winner is announced and this includes delivery internationally.
The Cause
We are currently raising as much money as possible towards archive costs - recording, film footage and stills photography - for a documentary we are making on the legendary double bass player Danny Thompson
Danny sadly died in September 2025 aged 86, and we filmed him up until about 10 weeks of his passing.. The other interviewees on the film include Harry Shearer, Paul Weller, Eddi Reader, Richard Thompson, Eric Bibb, Natasha Khan (Bat for Lashes), Billy Bragg and Joe Boyd.
Danny's musical legacy is the stuff of legend. It iss the culmination of 70 years of playing his bass (named Victoria, which he bought second hand as a 15 year old) working with the likes of Nick Drake, Pentangle, John Martyn, Kate Bush, Talk Talk, Paul Weller, Ralph McTell, Richard Thompson , Donovan, The The and Billy Bragg to name just a few artistes
We give massive thanks to Paul Weller's drummer Steve Pilgrim, who both recorded and played live with Danny, for organising the signing of one his spare snare drum skins, by all of the band, including Mr Weller, for our raffle prize.
Every penny raised will be spent on our film, resulting in it containing as much marvellous content as we can afford.
