A Message from Andy and Aggie Milner – Patryk’s Parents

Five years ago, on the 2nd of October 2020, our world changed forever. Patryk was just seven years old when he tragically passed away. He was full of life, laughter, and boundless energy. He loved being outside—running, walking, cycling, and playing with his friends. He had a gift for turning even the simplest moments into adventures, chatting the days away with a smile that could light up the darkest room.

Patryk’s joy for life was infectious. He found happiness in movement, in nature, and in connection. That’s why Patryk’s Path means so much to us—it’s more than a trail, it’s a living tribute to the spirit of a little boy who brought joy to everyone around him. Through this path, we hope to share Patryk’s love of the outdoors with the entire community, and to keep his legacy alive in every footstep taken.

Since Patryk’s passing, the support from the Sandbach community—especially the rugby club—has been nothing short of extraordinary. You’ve stood by me, Aggie, and Krissy, and helped us find strength in the most difficult times. Together, we’ve worked tirelessly to raise funds and build something lasting for the town and the club that meant so much to Patryk.

Thanks to a series of charitable events, Patryk’s Path is now used by people of all ages and abilities. It’s a place for reflection, for movement, and for joy. But it’s not finished yet.

We’ve been awarded a generous grant of £7,500 from Sport England—but we can only access it if we match it with new donations and complete the path within the next 12 months.

So today, I’m asking for your continued support. Help us finish what we started. Help us build something beautiful, something lasting, something that carries Patryk’s spirit forward.
