Patchworks needs help from our lovely community

We opened the doors in autumn 2021 to a lovely warm welcome from our community of Londoners. Since then we’ve been inviting you all to come and enjoy the space, as we continue repairing and restoring our lovely warehouse. Thank you to the many of you who have helped create the events, exhibitions, gigs, drinks, eats and more, bringing Patchworks to life and seeing what we could do with the space. You have blown our minds and then some! We thank you all for your support and custom through these tricky times. 

Wow! What a six months it has been, opening a venue like ours has been one hell of a rollercoaster, with the pandemic, the lockdown / not lockdown and all the impacts that has had on the hospitality industry. We have been a bit proud, we kept pushing on to keep the business going. For the record, we have had no public funding, to date the project has been completely funded by us, our collaborators and contacts. But, we’ve hit a wall - we’re facing an immense struggle to keep it going and get Patchworks life back to normal. 

Community driven

We are opening up Patchworks to the community. We aren’t a business as is the usual model. We want to change things, we want the business to be as accessible and inclusive as possible. So now we look to you, our community, friends and family for exciting partnerships, innovative investors and playful pioneers who can help us keep the Patchworks train on track. People who can see beyond Covid, break down the barriers and create a resilient, future-proof venue that can thrive for everyone and be a great success. 

Lend a hand

We’re turning to you cap in hand - our lovely local community of supporters, makers, doers, players and those who’ve just popped their head in the door to say hello. Ultimately, we need a lot of cash to keep the doors open, but for us it is more than the money, we are looking for innovative ways of keeping things going - clever collaborations, playful partnerships and innovative ideas to enable Patchworks to achieve its full potential. We  want to get the space insulated, soundproofed, waterproofed, warm and safe for everyone. 

As the community grows, so will Patchworks. We’re not short of ideas…
