Musical amplification and equipment

JUST £1 WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE! :-D
Hi. My name is Greg Drysdale and I run a weekly community education music group in Falkirk for adults experiencing mental health issues.
We are a band called "The Park Street All Stars"
...and I think we're pretty good! ;-)
BUT....our equipment desperately needs updated.

Now, we don't want you to get in a twist about how much to give, the idea is that if you can manage just a £1 donation each, all your £1 donations together will help make up a great wee stack of £ coins which will turn into more music and more happy people!
Can you donate a £ towards new P.A. speaker equipment?
It would mean we can play more gigs and charity events! ( Pssst! We're playing one soon! 2nd June 2017 ...Do come! :-D Here's the link for tickets and info - Park Street All Stars GIG tickets)
By learning to play and arrange songs in a group setting, class members stimulate memory, develop sensory awareness, increase social skills, and consider the needs of other class members. There is a high level of motivation both in and for the class, and this has been reported to me as an unusual event in their everyday lives.
We usually have a couple of free afternoon gigs in the year for friends and family and this is the first time we've tried crowd funding and playing an evening fundraising gig.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Greg

PARK ST MUSIC GROUP
Aims of the group

Park Street Music provides those living with mental health problems an outlet to express themselves through music. We have drums, acoustic/electric guitars, bass guitar, keyboard, congas and some small percussion plus music stands, guitar stands and microphones, p.a. speaker equipment for our singers and a digital multi-track recorder. Although classes are structured there is a casual atmosphere and class members are encouraged to decide much of the content each week as an aid to establish trust. The aptitude of the class members varies but no one is excluded - whatever their musical skills.
Park Street Music provides an opportunity for expression - through music. The main objective of the group is to play and learn different musical instruments and styles. Secondary – but equally important - objectives of Park Street Music include teamwork, demonstrating patience and building self-confidence. Playing as a group encourages an awareness and understanding of the needs of other people. Thanks to an award from The Venture Fund, the group has the necessary equipment to make their own recordings. The group is learning about musical structures and arrangements as part of the recording process. The Park Street Music group have produced CDs which include some members' own compositions. This is encouraged, as it demonstrates an increasing self-awareness and understanding of any internal issues and provides a safe, relaxed and accepting platform to work through these issues without ridicule or rejection.
An essential aspect of the group is the relaxed, sociable atmosphere. Benefits to members are many and musical skills learned at Park Street Music can be transferred to many other aspects of daily life. By learning to play a song in a group setting, class members stimulate memory, develop sensory awareness, increase social skills, and consider the needs of other class members. There is a high level of motivation both in and for the class, and this has been reported to me as an unusual event in their everyday lives. Within the class, strong friendships have developed and this is one of the more obvious ways that recovery is manifested by the members.
The group aims to achieve a better understanding of music and interaction with other musicians while providing a relaxed environment. It's somewhere people can meet informally using music as a platform to encourage and promote their sense of well-being and to have fun!
