Running the Paris Marathon

Hi everyone,

I’m excited to share that I’ll be running the Paris Marathon on April 13th 2025, to raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK — a cause that’s very important to me.

My nan suffers from dementia, and it’s been incredibly hard to see the effects of the disease on someone I love. Alzheimer’s is a devastating condition that affects millions of families, and unfortunately, the number of people diagnosed with it is only going to increase in the coming years.

We need a cure. We need to find better treatments, we need more support for families, and we need to raise awareness of this disease. The work done by Alzheimer's UK is crucial in providing that support, funding research, and helping to improve the lives of those affected by dementia.

I’ve seen firsthand how much this disease can change a person. Many of you will have loved ones who have been affected, or will be affected in the future. That’s why I’m asking for your support in this challenge. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly to Alzheimer's UK, and it will help fund vital research, care services, and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of people living with dementia.

I’m going to be training hard over the next few months to prepare for this marathon!
