Taking a new direction to keep Pareusi Alive.
Over the past eight years, we’ve built Pareusi — a kitchen knife company forged from our experience as professional chefs and shaped by the kitchens of Cornwall.
During this time, we’ve worked on some incredible projects, including crafting steak knives for Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and butter knives for Paul Ainsworth. We’ve recently secured an exciting new commission with a restaurant in Hong Kong. Alongside this, our knife-making experience days have allowed us to meet and connect with amazing people, something I’ve personally valued immensely.
However, due to ongoing health reasons, I’m planning to step back from the workshop — potentially in 2027. It’s a difficult thought that Pareusi could come to an end, but rather than letting that happen, we’re determined to take the brand in a new direction. Our ambition is not only to keep Pareusi alive, but to give it the opportunity to grow.
After a great deal of careful thought, I’m proud to share that we will be partnering with a small team in Sheffield, whose craft heritage dates back to the 1800s. They will be traditionally hand-crafting our designs to our exact specifications.
What excites us most about this partnership is the ability to reduce our waiting list, increase availability, and supply select retail partners for the first time — all without compromising on the craftsmanship that defines Pareusi.
We are raising funds to produce the first limited batch of 25 knives. From there, we plan to release new designs over the coming months, eventually building towards full knife sets.
Your support will allow Pareusi to continue into its next chapter — staying true to its roots while evolving into something bigger than we ever imagined.
