Aim
Help us progress from a small business ran from my back garden, into a business that can compete with the high street giants.
Who are we?
So I would like to begin with a brief summary of who Pallet Furniture is and what it is we want to do with the potential money raised. We are a small local start up company (Ran by only two people) that create hand made, bespoke and made to order items of furniture from reclaimed and recycled pallets. The beauty of what we do is it allows us to undercut the prices from the high street competators. We can keep the costs as minimal as possible, both from our perspective as well as the customers because all of our products that we produce are made from entirley recycled and reclaimed wood which brings a unique aspect to each and every product as no item will be identical so you can truly own a bespoke peice of furniture that is truly unique.
Why do we need your help?
We work from my back garden, which we are rapidly outgrowing, however we simply dont have enough expendible capital in order to move to a commercial premises. This is the reason for starting this CrowdFunder project. We want to keep this dream alive and that is why we are asking for your help.
Why do you need to move?
We are often working long hours everyday. Starting as early as possible, and working until as late as possible. Due to the fact that we are working from my back garden, in a residential area, we are recieving numerous complaints about the noise polution. I like where I live, and i am very simpithetic towards the feelings of my neighbours, as we do make a lot of noise and it is unfair on them.
As well as the noise, we are also very limited to what we can do due to space. My garden just isnt large enough to work on multiple orders at a time, which is affecting the speed at which we can grow. Customers have to face a lengthy waiting time due to only being able to build a new order once the previous one has been delivered.
The weather. I dont have any roofing in my garden, and as everyone is aware, England isnt known for its tropical climate. Restrictions to weather are one of the biggest factors that affect the time in which it takes to complete an order.
