Paddle Challenge 3 September 22

Aim

A junior paddle challenge to determine the Wirral Sea Scout Paddle Champion, have fun, and support youth charities and local good causes

On Saturday 3 September 2022, Sea Scouts from across Wirral will compete in a sponsored individual timed paddle sprint event over two legs, kayak and then paddle board. This is an invitational competition for Sea Scouts on Wirral to find the Wirral Sea Scout paddle champions.

To enter please select the Registration Reward with a minimum sponsorship of £10 per participant to support youth charities, local good causes, and to cover the 4th Heswall Scout Group’s costs as a charity, please raise more if you are able. Please also see the sunset paddle training sessions that are available in rewards for all competitors and their families.

There will be prizes in three categories, Junior, Senior and Senior plus (ages 10-12.5, 12.5-14, 14-17). Prizes will include gift vouchers for the Wirral Watersports Centre and local sports shops for participants finishing in the first, second and third fastest times in each category with a trophy going to the fastest time in each and a medal for every competitor.

You will be sent a link to the online registration page once the applications close Sunday 28 August, your registration response will determine your start time allocation on the day of the event, 3 September 2022.
