Bring More Colour to Chippenham – Support Our Next Street Art Mural!
Public Art Chippenham (PAC) is back with our next bold splash of creativity—and we need your help!
Thanks to your amazing support our first mural, at Buckles, helped brighten up the town and spark conversations. Now we have permission for our second major mural—this time on the riverside wall of Rivo Lounge in the heart of Chippenham.
Why We’re Crowdfunding
Our first mural was made possible thanks to generous funding from The Art Society, Kington Langley. Their support helped us prove what a big impact public art can have on Chippenham’s streets.
The community response was incredible—people stopped to admire it, shared photos, and told us how much it brightened up their day.
That’s why, for our second mural, we want you to be part of it.
This time, we’re inviting local residents and businesses to help fund the project directly and bring this bold new artwork to life. It’s your wall, your town—and your chance to be part of something beautiful.
We’ve raised a portion of the costs through our recent charity art auction, but we’re still short of our total goal. We’re now looking to raise £2,000+ to help cover:
- Additional artists’ time and fees
- Materials (high-quality paints, brushes)
- Equipment and access (Scissor lift, safety gear, etc.)

We’re thrilled to be working with Sophie Mess (sophiemess.com), an internationally recognised artist known for bold, botanical murals full of colour and movement. Her work has transformed walls from Bristol to Berlin—and we can’t wait to see her vision come to life in Chippenham.
