Owning our futures: Autonomy Movements in Europe

Aim

We are bringing together self-government campaigners from 14 nations and regions in Europe for a conference in Edinburgh on October 5th.

We are bringing together self-government campaigners from 14 nations and regions in Europe for a conference in Edinburgh on October 5th.  From Greenland to Catalonia to Sicily, whatever our differences we share the same principle  -  that our citizens should have the democratic right to choose independence or greater autonomy.  We want to exchange our experiences and build networks across Europe.

We will be taking our guests to Holyrood to sign a Declaration on the right to self-government.. This will be followed by an open conference on 'Owning Our Futures' and some Scottish hospitality at a ceilidh in the evening.

This is not an easy time for our movements which is why we need to be positive and build for the future.
