Support Over Peover Cricket Club to raise funds to build our new pavilion.

If we hit our stretch target we will also be able to put in place changing facilities, showers and toilets - this work is currently part of the 2025 plans - if you can help us raise this money in 2024 we will get this work done as well
Over Peover Cricket Club is a friendly club at the heart of the beautiful village in Over Peover. Providing enjoyment for adults and juniors, boys and girls.
In 2022 the club launched our ‘Building to 100 not out’ campaign with an aim to build a new pavilion. The current pavilion is 77 years old and has served the club well but is starting to show its age and needs replacement. It also has no facilities for women's cricket with showers and changing focused on male changing
In 2022 we raised over £80,000 from several fantastic events and due to generous local support.
During 2023 we have been working hard behind the scenes and have secured planning permission, designed the detail of the new building as well as have signed a long-term lease with our landlord.
In 2024 we aim to start building the pavilion; however our estimated costs have increased due to inflation and some additional requirements coming from the ECB and the planning process. To complete the first key phase we need £130,000. The £80,000 we raised in 2022 is now £100,000 thanks amongst other things to an ECB grant.
The great news is that we have a plan to deliver the new pavilion and secure the long-term future of the club.
The money raised will enable us to demolish the current pavilion, build the new building, including wooden cladding, have power and a water supply and be fully insulated.
The new pavilion will provide a warm welcoming facility for the local community, it will help secure the future of Over Peover Cricket Club as without warm and inviting facilities attracting and retaining adults and children will become harder and harder and we believe the new pavilion will give us the impetus to grow. It will also be set up properly for women's cricket with changing and showers to support female changing.
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
5. Buy rewards or tickets. We have lots of rewards and have tickets for events as well so have a look and get involved.
