Our aim is to help self-employed people thrive by providing an AI invoicing and instant payment app that speeds up cashflow & removes admin.
I’ve watched tradespeople, freelancers, creators and first-time entrepreneurs struggle not because they lack talent, but because the moment you go self-employed, the world gets complicated. Invoices, payments, tax worries, confusing software… things that should be simple suddenly become overwhelming.
I’ve seen brilliant people doubt themselves, lose momentum, and sometimes give up, not because they couldn’t do the work, but because the systems around them weren’t built for them.
So I decided to build something different. Something kinder. Something made for real people.
That became Ovaro, an AI-powered invoicing and instant payments app designed specifically for the self-employed.
An app that lets you create invoices in seconds, get paid faster and remove the admin stress that holds so many people back.
But I didn’t build this alone.
Over the past two years, I’ve brought together a small but passionate group of developers, designers, accountants, marketers and friends who believed in this mission from the very beginning. Instead of paying salaries we couldn’t afford, I gave equity, because I wanted every person who helped build Ovaro to own a piece of it.
Together, we have invested over £250,000 worth of time, skill and belief into building this platform. Everyone did it because they believed this could genuinely help people.
We now have:
We’re ready.
The product is almost live.
The foundation is strong.
The mission is clear.
But after two years of sacrifice, shared commitment and building something truly special, we now need help to share Ovaro with the people it was created for.
The money raised will go directly into marketing, helping us reach:
Your support will help us:
This project has always been about helping people believe in themselves.
Giving them tools that make life easier.
Taking away the fear that stops them from starting.
If you choose to support this mission, please know this:
You’re not just funding an app.
You’re helping build a future where self-employment is less stressful, more accessible, and more hopeful for everyone who tries.
Thank you, truly, for believing in us.
