We're still collecting donations
On the 30th December 2020 we'd raised £1,595 with 46 supporters in 55 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

Counselling in the Community have gone from seeing 4 people a week 3 years ago to approximately 100 a week currently from our Derby road hub and this number is showing a steady increase every week. This consistent growth which has mainly been fuelled by Covid 19 means we are outgrowing our current building and that is even by opening 9am -9pm Monday to Friday and 10am-4pm Saturday and Sunday.
Our 45 volunteers want to continue to help as many people as possible by ‘Making Counselling Accessible to All’ so, to do this we will need another hub.
We have located another site in South Shore which could and will be an amazing place to offer not only therapy but a host of other interventions, now we just need to get the first phase operational as we know Christmas and Covid are potentially a combination not conducive to poor mental health.
All of the money raised will be going to the refurbishment, both materials and labour. We will obviously be sourcing both locally and as economically as permitted and where possible looking to co-operatively with socially responsible tradesmen.
The vision is that eventually Waterloo road will become a community hub with a difference! There will be therapeutic services running for adults, families, young people, groups of all descriptions from crafting, up cycling and art. Alongside this there will be an educational element to our offer.
