Aim

Help us make a huge impact at ST ANDREW'S JUNIOR SCHOOL PTA, any donation from individuals and businesses will help shape our outdoor area.

Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to the whole school community.

The proposed new shelter will provide a safe, weather-proof outdoor learning space and enable us to deliver inclusive, hands-on environmental education. Importantly, the shelter will be accessible for our SEND children, ensuring that all pupils can participate fully in outdoor learning activities, develop practical skills, and benefit from nature-based learning.

This Outdoor shelter project will also:

Encourage teamwork, resilience, and social skills.

Be available for the school community to use during school and after-school activities.

Support wider environmental and well-being initiatives in Hadfield.

As well as being part of the Hedgehog Friendly Campus scheme the school is an Outstanding Beacon school for The Tree Council and is currently setting up a Community Tree Nursery pilot scheme with them. In conjunction with Derbyshire Wildlife you can put a pin on the nature map for the school: https://www.derbyshirewildlifetrust.org.uk/nature-connection-hadfield
