Hi Folks, thank you for checking in to our second annual Yule Britannia Christmas Crowdfunder. Maybe you gave to us last year? If so, thank you again! Maybe you did not? 

One thing is for sure. It is directly thanks to the people who gave last year, that 2019 has been our busiest year ever!

Our Thin Red Line of activists had 10 Counter Presence events; we had 13 Street Stalls throughout Scotland, we launched our quarterly hard-copy magazine, 'Union Heart'; we gave 2 major public speeches, and we published on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram every single day, with lots of in-depth articles and reports on our Website. 

But 2020 is going to be our biggest yet. It's going to be huge.

And we need your help to get us through it. 

Things We Must Do in 2020

1. We must grow our YouTube platform. That's an absolute priority. We need to produce a video a week – 52 in 2020. For a very small amount, we can retain a trusted colleague to deliver them; and to ensure we build our Patreon facility so our video output becomes financially self-sustaining. But if we don't raise what we need, then we won't be doing it. 

2. We must publish thousands of copies of our Pocketbook on the Union. Here's some exciting news; it's already written! We just need the money to transform it into physical reality.

3. In addition, we must hit 25,000 Followers on Twitter as soon as possible. We're at 16,000 at present. We will not be advertising. Instead we will contract someone to help us build our following by delivering powerful unionist content daily. If we raise the money, we will quickly reach those Followers, as surely as night follows day.

A combination of a growing and influential Twitter platform – which can launch one of our new videos each week – is a sure-fire winning combo. It is undoubtedly the fastest way to raise the profile of our organisation. 

Amount We Must Raise

Now, to do all those things we need 5 grand. £5,000 pounds! That's a small amount in the grand scheme of things – especially given what we are up against, and what we're trying to do. 

After all, we're trying to save the country here! 

In 2020, the Scottish Nationalists are going to be ramping-up their campaign of divisiveness. We cannot afford to sit around hoping it is somehow "going to be alright on the night". Chances are, it might not be! We have to make the most of all the time we have.

Scottish nationalists can access millions of pounds for their cause. Unionists do not have that ability. We have to rely solely on people reading this appeal. If not you, then who? After all, you are one of the few people in the world interested enough to read this. 

Look at it this way: if the UK was to break up, millions of people would lose money, some would lose their fortunes, and hundreds of billions would be lost world wide.

Last year our first-ever Christmas Crowdfunder ran for 28 days and raised 2 grand. We were pleasantly surprised by that, but this year, we need to keep growing and we're asking for more than double that. 

We are confident that there are enough people out there who believe in the United Kingdom, who are proud to be British, and who will give to our worthy cause, especially during this Season of Goodwill.
