We're still collecting donations
On the 22nd April 2022 we'd raised £25,591 with 145 supporters in 35 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Our aim is to raise much needed funds to help the future survival of our great friendly cricket club.

On the 22nd April 2022 we'd raised £25,591 with 145 supporters in 35 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Any extra funds we raise will go into to further developing our junior section, and work in the community.
We will also carry on our ground improvements and equipment improvements.
Why we are Here.
Like many Sports Teams the COVID pandemic has hit our club very hard. Multiple lockdowns have stopped us from raising some much-needed funds. Funds during normal times we would raise through Bar takings, Social events and sponsorship. We are in real need to improve and upgrade our pavilion / score box, coaching equipment and other vital ground equipment. We need your help to get our club back to a position where we can provide the quality facilities and coaching, we have done for many previous years, and keep us at the heart of the Romsey community.
Our Crowdfunder Plans ( 2022 ).
We plan to raise money in a few different ways during our Crowdfunder project. We will look to utilize Crowdfunder Rewards which will include the chance for local businesses to sponsor items such as the Covers, Boarding's that go around the pitch on game days, and match ball sponsors. We will also offer the chance to buy signed cricket memorabilia from cricket stars such as our own Chris Wood, ( Hampshire and Oval Invincibles ), Katie George, ( England and Welsh Fire ), and our very own range of merchandise in the form of branded T Shirts.
To appeal not only to the cricket community, we will also look to offer special deals from local businesses such as Marwell Zoo, and Paultons Park.
Our Future Plans.
The money we raise will go towards a variety of projects we have, and upgrades we need to keep thriving as a cricket club.
Our History.
OTs and Romsey cricket club play in the heart of Romsey Town. The club formed in 1998, from an amalgamation of Old Tauntonians Cricket Club and Romsey Cricket Club.
We offer cricket to the very young and beginners with “All stars Cricket”, through the age groups with junior cricket, right up to adult cricket where we currently run 4 adult teams. The highest playing in the Southern League Premier divisions. We are very much at the heart of the local Romsey community and pride ourselves on our inclusive and welcoming approach to everything we do. We offer cricket to those who just want to play socially to those who take it more seriously and want to play high level league cricket. We pride our selves on producing cricketers from our junior section, with the majority of the current first team products of our junior set up.
Junior Cricket.
Junior cricket is vital to the long-term success of any cricket club. We have successfully run age group cricket for may years now and have recently started to offer the opportunity to play from the earliest of ages with the ECB All Stars cricket programme. We run age group cricket for U9, U11, U13 and U15.
We are also a member of the ECB Clubmark.
Most of our junior cricketers will just enjoy cricket for the great game it is and carry this into their adult cricket. We do also help produce those who go onto bigger and better things. Many juniors have represented Hampshire at aged group cricket and some do even better. Katie George being the most recent, playing for England and the Welsh Fire in The Hundred.
With your help and our continued commitment to offer cricket to all, we hope to produce more cricketers like Katie in the future, but more importantly, enjoyment, exercise, mental well being and a place where everyone feels welcome and at home.
Thank you for taking your time to read our Crowdfunder page, please donate where you can, get involved in our rewards page and other events that will appear on here and our social media pages.
