Oscar is seriously poorly at the moment and has nearly exceeded his insurance limit, I am desperately appealing for help to keep him treated
I am devastated to say that my perfect baby Oscar sadly passed away this evening.
He eventually got diagnosed with Aplastic Anaemia, he had little energy left and was struggling to breathe; his decline was cruel.
He grew his angel wings with me his daddy cuddling him, and has left a huge gap in my life.
I will be in touch with donators over the coming days to ask if you are happy for your donation to:
I would like to thank you all for your generosity at this tragic time.———————————————————————-
Oscar my 10 year old, beloved Dalmatian is seriously poorly at the moment and has been referred to specialist Vetinary care at a hospital in Winchester.
On Monday 13th June, I came home from work at lunch to see him and suffered every pet owners nightmare, an unresponsive pet laid on the floor, clearly unwell and in discomfort.
Oscar has been to his local vet Medivet 24 in Wokingham who were BRILLIANT and have now referred him into specialist care, and the tests are ongoing to find the cause for his illnesses.
Currently he has no white blood cells, so no immunity and is at high risk of infection. He also has no white blood platelets and is at risk of internal bleeding as a result of having no clotting ability. He has a few minor lung bleeds but is ok so far.
Oscar has had bone morrow biopsies now and is awaiting his results.
Oscar is my baby, one of the most important things in my life, he has been with me for 10 years and is too young to be suffering in this way. He is very well insured and has the maximum limit allowed of £15,000.00 per annum.
Because of his age, his excess is heavy at 20% of his vet care costs, and I also need to appeal to help from everyone who loves him to allow funding for care once his insurance value runs out; luckily this amount resets in mid August.
Oscar is well known everywhere from Bracknell to Bridgend and the Valleys in Wales, and I am openly appealing to anyone who can help us without putting yourself in financial difficulty.
Any money not spent on Oscar, for example if his diagnosis is made and treatment is funded by insurance successfully, only funding will be used to cover excess charges- any other donations will be returned where possible, or donated on to the Dogs Trust Charity, this would be your choice, but PLEASE do not donate anonymously just incase in need to return the donation to you. Any anonymous donations will have to go to the dogs trust in the event Oscar gets better or sadly the worst situation happensZ
Thank you so much in advance, much love to all.
