Aim
Orsa is our much loved therapy dog and we need help with funds to pay the vet bills to help reduce her cancer and give her more time.
Orsa is our much loved therapy dog who has supported so many people at various places but especially in our shop - Exeter Craft Hub for the past 7 years. Sadly she has been diagnosed with throat/nose cancer and after initial scans and tests we have decided to get specialist treatment as it can't be operated on.
UPDATE - we have completed the first 4 sessions and this has been successful with the mass reduced in size. We would like to say a huge thank you to those who have supported us so far and due to many requests we have extended this campaign - so thank you.
The most important thing is she is not in pain, but the costs are so high and we are using savings to pay for the first part - CT scan and radiotherapy which costs around £7,000, but to extend her chances we also have the option of chemotherapy which is an something we will consider after a few months review0. We all love her so much and we know her fan club and many of our customers have been asking how to help - we could really do with some help to raise the additional medication and treatments and as she is such a large breed she needs more than the usual size dog.
Any help would be really appreciated. Orsa will be in the shop on some days but not as much as she has been in the past and the treatment will make her tired, so please bear with us and her at this time
