Aim
We are running this prize draw to raise money for the urgent essential repairs and dry docking of Ross Revenge.
The Prize
Enjoy the authentic sound of Radio Caroline on a 1960s transistor radio. This is a special opportunity for one person to win an original vintage Bush TR82c (Mark 1) transistor radio manufactured between 1960 and 1963. This 60s radio has been cleaned inside and has all the original components. It is powered by a PP9 battery (included) or a 9-volt DC main convertor (not included). It is in unrestored and original working condition. A real collector’s item – and you can tune into Radio Caroline at around 465 MW!
The Cause
Ross Revenge is in urgent need of Dry Docking, where surveys and important maintenance can be carried out. Our prize draws will hopefully help supplement our Fund Raising Appeal to achieve our goal of securing the future of our historic ship.
