The aim of this project is to collect funds to support a humanitarian medical mission in Ukraine.
This project is the spiritual successor of Op Neverwinter, which was closed due to it's technical deviation from it's concept of execution. Even though the funds would have been used similarly if they were transferred to this project. I was not comfortable committing charitable donations to purposes that aren't exactly what the donor believed.
The mission is to have the greatest possible positive impact in Ukraine.
In order to address Kershov Dam Crisis we have interacted with NGO's and humanitarian organisations that are experts on situations like this. The demand for full size ambulances is extreme. As we are already in Ukraine, I have accepted the task of collecting an additional ambulance and supplies from the UK and returning to Ukraine. While I will still aim to render aid to casualties, the demand at the moment is strongly logistical and humanitarian rather than my specialism, which is emergency medicine and combat medicine. We are still working in collaboration with an NGO that is also a registered charity. Kershov is in close proximity to the front line and experiences constant indirect fire even during this civilian crisis.
