Aim
To help bring choice and joy at Christmas across East Devon.
Operation Rudolph is a volunteer-led, community-based project aimed at relieving financial and social pressure on individuals and families during the Christmas season. Primarily operating in East Devon, the crowdfunding campaign helps to provide free community Christmas Day meals, meal boxes with ingredients for those who prefer to cook at home, and "Gifts from Santa" to ensure no child goes without a present. The project, which started during the pandemic, has grown to serve a large number of people, with volunteers even offering transport to and from the community meals. The campaign relies on community donations and the support of local businesses to ensure that Christmas is a joyful time for everyone.
