The Cotswold Art Box is crowdfunding to set up a studio where people can be creative, regardless of talent & access various arts
Bourton-on-the-Water needs The Cotswold Art Box! The recreational activities for local people are extremely limited, and the area is predominantly geared towards the hundreds of thousands of tourists who visit each year.

The Art Box aims to provide a fun and creative space to allow the community to reignite their imaginations through various arts. A hub of activity where individuals can spend time away from work and responsibilities, where families can reconnect (without electronic devices in each hand!) and where children can make memories...

THE ART BOX - WHAT WE AIM TO DO...
The Art Box Take Away sessions are focused around a variety of materials, and the freedom for those participating to feel at ease to "just have a go" regardless of their perceived talent. These sessions allow the participant the time and space to realise the joy of making their very own masterpiece to take home with them at the end of the session.
Students are provided with an array of items to decorate, from door hangers to photo frames and notebooks. The studio walls will be lined with decorative items, such as buttons, feathers, sea shells and sequins to name a few!
We will offer a regular Take Away Sessions, adults and children's parties, social meet-ups, pottery painting, evening and weekend workshops including Powertex, macrame and sewing to name a few.
We wish to set up a parent and toddler group where free, messy play is encouraged. Over 60s sessions will be organised too.
