A British gin inspired by the world, for the world
We’ve been selling bottled water and great-tasting soft drinks since 2005 and using the profit to fund life-changing water projects in some of the world’s poorest communities. To date One has raised over £15 million and changed the lives of over 3 million people.
Our hunt for growth sectors in the drinks market to help us raise more funds for The One Foundation has led us into the exciting world of British gin…
One “Sage” Gin
One Gin is distilled by multi-award-winning Master Distiller Sarah Thompson at Blackdown Distillery in Sussex. The process uses 9 botanicals from around the world, plus one quintessentially British botanical – sage – foraged from the grounds of the distillery. Every bottle contributes to funding clean water projects in some of the world's harshest regions.
One Gin is handcrafted in small batches in an alembic copper still and then seven-times filtered for an exceptionally smooth finish. The result is a unique British gin with savoury notes of black tea from the marriage of juniper and sage.
One Gin (seen above with Peter Spanton No.9 Cardamom Tonic and the award-winning NEAT glass) is a versatile craft gin – perfect in a G&T with a slice of crisp apple and a sage leaf to garnish, as well as a range of cocktails that we’ll be sharing on www.onedifference.org/gin over the coming months.
One Gin Afternoon Tea Party (Reward 6)
