We're still collecting donations
On the 13th June 2020 we'd raised £950 with 59 supporters in 14 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
To raise vital funds to complete construction of the farm ready for the return to normality in September
by Shane Matthew in Runcton, England, United Kingdom
On the 13th June 2020 we'd raised £950 with 59 supporters in 14 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
During the entire course of the Covid-19 lockdown period, Crimsham Farm CIC remodelled itself and carried out emergency food deliveries to our entire community. The area covered was the largest of any food delivery service covering the whole of the Arun Valley, Chichester District and some parts of Hampshire.
On a daily basis we delivered around 100 orders to addresses all over the county to people in isolation and people in need. In total, we dispatched over 300 emergency deliveries to those in financial difficulty as well.
After this success, we are hoping that as a final thank you from those we have strived and risked our own health to help, we will be able to fundraise enough money to fit out our welfare centre and complete our new animal enclosures in preparation for the massive influx of use by the schools in the area come September 1st.
If you used our service, please, give as much as you can, we are asking for a small donation of £10 per household that used us, but in honesty, £1 helps. We helped you all so now, please, help us!
As a thank you for every household that donates £10, we will arrange for you to visit the farm and meet the team and the animals, you will receive hands on experience with all we have and get to see the project construction stages so far and, be given and in depth low down on what is coming next!
This is a unique opportunity, to say thank you, enjoy a socially distant day out and see what we are doing and what we are all about.
Our Ethos is centred around community, we exist to serve our community and no matter what hardships we face, we will overcome them together.
Many thanks and see you all very soon!
