Just a few minutes walk from the cable car up to the Aiguille du Midi, the flat is centrally located, beautifully furnished and spacious enough for 8. Arriving on Saturday 4th April 2026, the flat will be ready and waiting for you and your family and friends to enjoy a full week of everything Chamonix has to offer!
Key features of this brilliant prize of one week's self-catering stay in a luxury flat in Chamonix are:
🌿 A home-from-home, that is furnished and kitted out for family and friends to enjoy it together.
🍛 On the entrance level there is: a large open plan living/dining area with views of Mont Blanc; a small kitchen separated by a breakfast bar; a twin bedroom with views over the river; a family bathroom (bath/shower, toilet, sink, washing machine); and second bathroom (shower, toilet and small hand basin).

🎁 Upstairs there is: a mezzanine with two single beds; and the second twin bedroom with views of Brevent.

🦧 The flat has its own dedicated parking space in the underground carpark below the building as well as a dedicated cave/storage room where you can leave skis/boards/prams or anything else that doesn't need taking up to the flat.

We have two long-serving and beloved Land Rovers as part of our vehicle fleet. They play a critical role in our rescues, taking Team members and key equipment as close to casualties as possible on terrain other vehicles cannot, and in some instances transport casualties to waiting ambulances. They've been well cared for, but are unfortunately getting near to the end of their working lives as Mountain Rescue vehicles.
In addition to raising funds to replace these vehicles (approx £70,000 each) we need to continue to raise funds to cover our annual running costs (approx £45,000).
Oldham Mountain Rescue Team has operated for more than 60 years, and provides a voluntary search and rescue service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Funded almost entirely by generous public donations, the team objective is to save lives and alleviate distress, primarily in upland and mountainous areas without cost or obligation. We have strong links with Greater Manchester Police, North West Ambulance Service and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service and provide support for these organisations at busy times, during severe weather, major incident or where our specialist skills are needed.
Thank you for taking part and helping to raise vital funds.
GOOD LUCK!!
