Mission 500 - The 500 mile challenge
The Oliver's team will walk/run/cycle 500 miles over the course of lockdown with an aim of raising £1,000 for Health in Mind and Edinburgh & Lothians Health Foundation (ELHF). Should we reach this goal - we will walk 500 more with an aim to double the original target. Thereafter aiming to raise £1000 for every 500 miles we complete.

Our charities
ELHF work in strategic partnership with NHS Lothian to make a difference to people’s health and wellbeing. Donations can make a huge difference from providing essential resources to staff & patients to providing patients with tablets to connect with their loved ones and taking care of staff mental health through providing a wellbeing room.
Health in mind is a vital support-line for many people just now - a local Edinburgh charity who support anyone who is struggling with their mental health - something we feel many people will be facing through these uncertain times. They have specialised groups for different demographics and run a variety of activity programmes, workshops, a support phone line, counselling sessions and group therapy. They have worked hard over the last few weeks to ensure their services are still accessible and are also supporting NHS workers just now by donating bikes to them to get to work and keep fit.
These are unprecedented times but together, we are stronger.
