To create a community garden and activity space in Saltney Ferry
We have renovated an old chapel building in Saltney Ferry, Flintshire to create a community cafe and activity space. We look to create spaces that help us reduce loneliness and social isolation, improve people's mental health and make our local area better.
We encourage people to join in with social, community-focussed activities. We look to use individual's strengths to create community. We encourage everyone to 'chill-out, join in or start something new'.
Our community garden will create an outdoor space that will be used especially by locals to reconnect to nature. We want to plant new trees, install raised beds and create a garden space. We are aiming to create a well-used space that is open all the time for anyone to come and find a green, safe space. We want people to come together and find a purpose in nature.
