Aleksandra will be cycling from Land's End to London on the 12th of July to raise money for the mental health charity Arts Network.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, arts and mental health charity Arts Network has been producing online workshops and sending out activity booklets called ’Stay Connected' to over 300 people. This booklet has proven to be a lifeline for so many people during the lockdown, particularly those who were shielding. Arts Network have been getting requests from other organisations who also work with vulnerable adults and children who would also like to receive copies of Stay Connected.
So Aleksandra, or Ola as we know her is going to be raising as much money as she can to make this happen!
Ola was diagnosed with a severe ulcerative colitis-pancolitis 2 years ago and has battled with this life long condition ever since, so this is also a personal challenge for her and others who battle with this illness.
Thank you and good luck Ola! We will be following your journey and cheering you on!
