Aim
'Off the Cuff' is revue of sketches and songs with a cast of local amateur performers, filmed and edited by a professional videographer.
The Arne House Players is a loose collection of amateur theatre actors, based in South Devon. We have so far performed five shows in local theatres, of musical plays written and composed by Peter Whittle. On this occasion, we decided to produce a film that could be shown in local community cinemas and on an internet video platform. Having hired a suitable venue, the sketches and songs were filmed during July 2023, and the resulting film was premiered later in the year. Any funds raised here will go towards covering the costs of this project, so that we might be able to consider making another film later this year in 2024.
