Every year, hundreds of thousands of children across the UK struggle to engage with school lessons and keep up with the national curriculum, causing them to fall behind.
For many, the current system simply doesn’t work—trapping some of the most vulnerable in a cycle where they miss out on the education they need to progress and thrive.
We’ve already engaged and inspired tens of thousands of disabled and disadvantaged children by bringing the magic of music, drama, arts, and creativity into their classrooms.
Every school term, we reinvent Shakespeare’s plays to help bridge the attainment gap. Over the past 15 years, we’ve transformed the lives of the UK’s most deprived children—empowering them through creative expression, boosting their literacy, confidence, and love for learning.
£85,000—that’s what it costs to operate in just one school for a year. And with our commitment to expanding into one new school every year, failing to raise another £85,000 means hundreds of children will miss out on this life-changing opportunity.
But our programmes are about more than just Shakespeare—they help children find their voice, build confidence, and unlock their potential. We’ve already transformed the lives of the UK’s most vulnerable children, but there’s still so much more to do.
We’re incredibly proud to have the support of some of Britain’s most acclaimed actors and musicians, including Billie Piper, Hugh Bonneville, and Adrian Lester. But we can’t do it alone – we need your support!
During the Covid lockdowns, we went even further—taking the entire national curriculum online for free so parents could support their children’s learning at home.
We launched ‘Shakespeare at Home’, a comprehensive collection of over 150 interactive activities and educational resources, including games, films, arts and crafts, and easy-to-follow lesson plans designed for parents. Covering the full national curriculum—English, Maths, Science, History, Art, Geography, Music, and PE—it provided vital support at a time when children needed it most.
More than five million parents across the UK accessed our free resources, helping their children stay engaged and learning through the pandemic.
We could share endless statistics, but the real proof is in our impact. In 15 years, we have never left a school—not once. Once a school welcomes us in, they never want us to leave. Instead, our presence has only grown, year after year.
Join us in our mission to engage and inspire the next generation through the power of the arts—and be in with a chance to win an unforgettable prize!
