We are a local group of mums who wanted to make sure there is a space in our community for other parents & kids to socialise.
As mums ourselves, we realise just how important it is to have a place to meet other parents and allow our kids to mix with other children. Toddler groups are so important in communities as it provides a space to get reassurance and help from other parents, especially for first time parents! These areas allow us to speak about trials and victories we experience whilst we navigate the busy life of being parents and allow us to let our kids play in a safe and inviting space.
We particularly realised just how important these groups are in the community after a lot of people who become first time parents missed out on crucial opportunities to mix with other parents and their children missed out on being able to play with other kids their age.
During these trying times we realise that not everybody is financially able to afford to go to things each week where they would have to pay for their children so we decided to try and raise money for not only equipment, but to make the sessions free for as long as possible. This means that for a lot of people, they dont have to worry about lunch for their little one one day a week, which might not seem like a lot, but can make such a huge difference (we hope) to some!
