OA's are looking to raise funds to purchase a scrum machine solution to allow us to improve the skillset of our players.

by Old Alleynians in London, Greater London, United Kingdom

 New stretch target

Any additional funds will support the wider club redevelopment.

With the pandemic having dramatically affected the last two seasons, the overall volume of fixtures and training has reduced the amount of scrummaging practice that players have received. As a vital component of both junior and senior rugby, a strong scrum and the player skillsets required is a foundational element of us meeting our potential on the pitch and developing our players.

The purchase of a scrum machine solution that could suit all age groups will help improve the skill set of existing senior players, and importantly also provide a safe way to upskill young players as they make the transition from youth to senior rugby.

We are aiming to have this in place for season 22/23. We are specifically looking to purchase an ex-display unit in order to keep costs down.

Any funds you can donate, however small (though large is even better) will be greatly appreciated. If we exceed our target, any funds will go towards the wider club redevelopment plans.

Target amount - £5,000
