New Waltham Parish Council wanted to provide the village with a fresh, new, modern play area within the heart of the village and using the old bowling green, which was overgrown and unused was the prefect location for this!
We have been able to open the area with some equipment installed, a toddler area, adventure assault course and some picnic benches, but our vision stretches further! We want to accommodate for all ages! Some older swings and an inclusive swing are due to be installed within the next few weeks, which was made possible by further donations from a local building company, who have been so incredibly generous to help us bring our vision to life!
But we need further help! We want to finish the play area and install an inclusive roundabout and a zip line to really bring the play area to life and ensure that the village has a fantastic area to play within!
We need your help, any donation would be incredible and at the end of the project we will be installing signage detailing everyone (if authorised) that has helped bring this play area to reality!
