Terms & Conditions

Win a pair (2 tickets) to either Reading Festival, Leeds Festival or Creamfields Festival and support Neighbourhood Watch's Youth Voice programme: Prize Draw

1) By entering this prize draw, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2) The promoter is Neighbourhood Watch Network, a charity registered in England & Wales (CIO no: 1173349) with registered office at WG07, Vox Studios, 1-45 Durham Street, London, SE11 5JH.

Eligibility

3) Entry is permitted from anywhere in the world.

4) Anyone entering the prize draw accepts that in the event that they win a Prize, they are responsible for their own travel to and from the event (and that of their Guest), including complying with any visa requirements.

5) Entrants must be 18 years of age or over on 31st July 2023.

Entry Requirements and Entry Period

6) Paid entry to the prize draw is available via Crowdfunder (https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/nwnfestivalprize).

7) For free entry by post to the prize draw, see clauses 27-30.

8) The prize draw opens at 12:00 GMT on Monday 31st July 2023 and closes at 23:59 GMT on Wednesday 9th August 2023 (the ‘Entry Period’). Any entries received after the Entry Period will not be accepted.

9) Neighbourhood Watch Network is not responsible for any delays in postal delivery by Royal Mail.

The Draw and The Prize Winners

10) The draw will take place on 10th August 2023 (the ‘Draw Date’). The draw will take place even if the target amount is not achieved.

11) Once the Entry Period is closed, each individual valid entry will be entered into the draw.

12) On the Draw Date the administrator of the draw (Neighbourhood Watch Network) will use a random number generator to select one (1) Prize winner for the prize from the valid entries. In the event that the Prize winner(s) cannot be contacted in line with clause 16 below we will use a random number generator to select a further winner, and repeat this process until a winner can be contacted.

13) Multiple entries per person are permitted, but only one Prize per person will be given. For the avoidance of doubt, each entrant will only be entitled to win one Prize, as listed in clause 18.

14) The first number to be drawn will win the Prize as defined in clause 18(a)

15) The Prize winner will be notified by email within 2 days of the Draw Date.

16) In the event that a Prize winner does not make contact with Neighbourhood Watch Network to claim their Prize within three (3) days of the Draw Date, or is disqualified from the draw, Neighbourhood Watch Network will allocate their Prize to the next number randomly generated. The next prize winner will then choose which of the three festivals they wish to attend.

17) Neighbourhood Watch Network's decision as to the Prize winners is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

The Prizes

18) The Prize is as follows:

a) First Prize: two (2) tickets to either Reading Festival 2023, Leeds Festival 2023, or Creamfields Festival 2023. The winner will choose one of these three festivals to attend and confirm this by email return on receipt of contact from Neighbourhood Watch Network.

19) The Prize winner will receive two (2) entry tickets, with which they can redeem entry to the festival they choose for themselves and a guest (‘Guest’). Each winner must accept sole responsibility for the care and safety of any Guest under the age of 16 years on 24th August 2023, for the duration of the event.

20) The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

21) The winner and their Guest will be required to verify their identity as the named ticket holder in order to gain access to the event.

22) Tickets will be digital and dispatched to the email provided in the registration after verification by the winner. Tickets may be dispatched up to a week before the festival.

23) The winner and their Guest must arrive at the event together.

24) Winner and their Guest must not be intoxicated at the point of redeeming their festival experience.

25) Entry to the festival is subject to the full Ticket Terms and Conditions of Entry for the chosen festival.

26) The receipt by the winning entrant of any of the Prize is conditional upon the winning entrant’s compliance with these rules. Winning entrants may be required to provide a written acknowledgement of these rules and other terms and conditions, consents or releases relating to the Prize.

Postal Entry

27) Postal entrants may enter the promotion:

a) by mailing their full name, email address, and a contact telephone number (including area code if providing a landline number) or other method of contact (as applicable), to the following postal address:

Neighbourhood Watch Network, WG07, Vox Studios, 1-45 Durham Street, London, SE11 5JH; and

b) by sending an entry within an envelope. Entries received other than in an envelope will not be accepted.

28) In the case of multiple entries received in a single envelope, only one entry will be entered into the draw.

29) Entries sent by post;

a) must be received at the relevant postal address specified for entries by the end of the Entry Period as specified in Clause 8.

b) Entries which have not been given the correct and sufficient payment for postage will be invalid and will not be considered.

30) Personal and hand-delivered entries will not be accepted.

General

31) Neighbourhood Watch Network shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations to the winner(s) if such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Neither shall Neighbourhood Watch Network be liable to the winner(s) for any loss or damage suffered in connection with this prize draw and/or the Prize, save in respect of death or personal injury caused by the negligence or fraud of Neighbourhood Watch Network.

32) Neighbourhood Watch Network reserves the right to make any reasonable amendments to these Terms and Conditions at any stage. In this event, a notice will be posted on https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/nwnfestivalprize. Neighbourhood Watch Network also reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.

33) As a condition of entering the prize draw, entrants must ensure that, by doing so, they do not contravene any laws of their country of residence. Neighbourhood Watch Network will not be liable in any way if any entrant enters the prize draw unlawfully.

34) Entrants may be required to participate in publicity without further consent or payment, such publicity including without limitation the entrant’s name, entry or any information provided by the entrant, including photographs and videos. This information may be used by Neighbourhood Watch Network in any and all media, including but not limited to Neighbourhood Watch Network's social media platforms, in perpetuity throughout the world as Neighbourhood Watch Network may decide.

35) Any personal information collected by Neighbourhood Watch Network in connection with a prize draw will be used in accordance with Neighbourhood Watch Network's Privacy Policy (https://www.ourwatch.org.uk/how-we-work/nationally/governance-strategy-and-policies/policies/privacy-and-cookie-notice).

36) A list of winners can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Head of Fundraising, Neighbourhood Watch Network, WG07, Vox Studios, 1-45 Durham Street, London, SE11 5JH, together with details of the prize draw winners list you require within thirty (30) days from the Draw Date.

37) Neighbourhood Watch Network will make available information that indicates that a Prize has been awarded under this draw. To comply with this obligation Neighbourhood Watch Network will send the surname and county of prize winners to anyone who writes to SHead of Fundraising, Neighbourhood Watch Network, WG07, Vox Studios, 1-45 Durham Street, London, SE11 5JH (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one (1) month after the Draw Date stated in Clause 10. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact Neighbourhood Watch Network at ‘[email protected]’. In such circumstances, Neighbourhood Watch Network must still provide the information and winning entries to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

38)   This prize draw and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising therefrom.
