About us

NutriWolds is a woman led business which aims to bring a breath of fresh air to the pet food industry with inclusive feeding for both cats and dogs.

We want to part of something big, and we would like your help to get us there! 

Our aim is to show a fresher way of feeding and what impact the way we feed our animals is having on their health and well-being.

Our main focus is on fresh raw feeding, but we recognise that this may not be suitable for everyone, so we have tiered our range to offer an introductory and intermediate level of better feeding for our cats and dogs with the ultimate aim of all feeding fresh. 

About our food

Baked Bites 

Our dry really is something far better than a standard biscuit, our baked bites, are made in the UK, the recipe created by world leading nutritionists is one of the only dry foods in the world that do not contain premixes or synthetic ingredients, we know that makes them incredibly special and we have made no compromises on producing something we can be proud of when compared to anything on the market. It isn't extruded, its baked in ovens at a low temperature and over a short time to maintain optimal nutritional value and our fresh percentage is much higher then all other leading brands, we have no fillers, no grains and therefore no need to separate our range for different life stages, this makes our food suitable for all. We have again kept things simple with two flavours, Chicken and Salmon.

Wet Tins

We then offer a wet introduction for those not ready to try our raw, unlike any other tin, ours uniquely do not contain synthetic premixes, currently only available in two flavours Beef and Chicken we have specifically designed our food for flavour and texture with whole chunks of offal and packed full of superfoods and organic cuts.

Raw

We are very excited and proud about our raw food, which has been specifically developed to be our ultimate goal on your path to fresh feeding, made in line with all our range for both cats and dogs. We are extremely lucky and grateful to have worked with Emma Rutherford, world leading canine and feline nutritionist, she has lovingly created the recipes for all our raw range which includes 7 magnificent flavours. Two beef (one boneless), two chicken (one extra special indeed), a rabbit, a lamb and salmon. In addition we will offer vegetable and broth accompaniments. Our raw contains no premixes, fillers and is not overfilled with bone.

Our range will be made by our own hands at our fantastic newly purpose built head office in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds.

This range will be continually developed with many new and delicious flavours already in mind.

Our Ethical and Environmental ethos

Ingredients

All our meat is of course human grade, prime muscle and offal cuts either organic or farmer assured, our vegetables are all organic and our fish is MCSUK certified. We also have a fantastic source of seaweed from the local Scarborough shoreline and hope Oysters will soon be available from the same source.

Packaging

Our packaging has been carefully considered, we looked at biodegradable for all aspects, however the time (centuries) the dry bags would take to break down made it clear in our minds that a recyclable bag would be far better for the environment as that could go back into a circular economy.

Our tins are BPA and chlorine free, are fully recyclable with biodegradable labels and multi-pack holders.

Our raw is packaged in 100% biodegradable bagasse (sugarcane leaf) cartons with cardboard sleeves and we use a antimicrobial coating which makes our packaging safer to handle.

Suppliers

We have been meticulous in our search for the right supply partners, as well as ensuring the highest quality products we have also taken great care to ensure they have the highest quality, environmental and ethical practices and policies in place. 

Quality Control

We have an extremely comprehensive quality control policy with a rigorous and thorough testing plan in place to ensure our food is made and served to exacting and safe standards.

So, how can you help us? Well, hopefully now we have told you a little about ourselves you may be willing to helps us complete our dream to a reality, we are seeking to raise £5,000 which will be match funded by Natwest. We know that times are difficult and uncertain, but as little as £10 could really make a significant contribution to our project and to say thank you we have put together some generous discounts for future orders that would be of more value than the pledge made to help us now.
