Help us raise £50k to save our bursary fund and keep talented dancers aged 10-16 in ballet training. Donate now! (Reg. Charity: 114812)

At London Vocational Ballet School in West London, we believe that ballet should be accessible to all children. Our mission is to never turn away a talented young dancer, regardless of their financial circumstances. As a result, our beautiful studios are filled with a diverse group of some of the finest young dancers aged 10-16. We purposefully keep our class sizes small ensuring that every student receives personalised attention and guidance. Artistic Director Louise Bennett brings a wealth of experience from an international performing and teaching career, and is passionate about creating opportunities for talented young dancers to thrive, regardless of their circumstances.
Because we are dedicated to keeping vocational training accessible, over 65% of our student body relies on in-kind bursaries and scholarships to attend. We remove the financial barriers so that our aspiring dancers can train with us and be prepared for the rigours of upper school training. This sits alongside a vigorous full time academic curriculum with students attending a complete school week that seamlessly integrates traditional education with intensive vocational training. We are not a Saturday or evening programme; our students live and breathe their training every single day.
The current economic climate has hit the arts sector incredibly hard. The need for financial support is now greater than the funding we have available, and our in-kind bursary and sponsorship fund is at grave risk.
We are aiming to raise £50,000 to support the young dancers of LVBS. Every single penny raised goes directly into our Sponsorship and Bursary Fund. Your donation keeps our young dancers in the studio, and on track to join the world's leading ballet and dance companies when they graduate.

Here is what your donation could support:
£75 gives one young dancer access to LVBS's Enrichment programme for a whole year, including school trips, workshops with industry professionals, opportunities to work with choreographers, and chances to perform on stage.
£100 pays for a dancer's training for a day, allowing them to access the world class vocational and academic education on offer at LVBS.
£200 covers a dancer’s uniform costs for a child on a means tested bursary.
£900 covers a term's pointe shoes and a carefully structured pointe work programme, with expert teachers and live accompaniment, for one student on a means tested bursary.
£1500 patches the termly fee gap for a family facing acute financial hardship.
£3000 pays for a dancer's training for half a term.

Our success story!
We are incredibly proud to see our 2026 graduates take the next step in their professional training at prestigious institutions like the English National Ballet School, Dutch National Ballet Academy, and Elmhurst Ballet School. This year, our talented students have also earned places at the Royal Swedish Ballet School, Northern Ballet School, Central School of Ballet, and Laine Theatre Arts, proving that your support helps build world-class futures.
