This is my girlfriend who's a fully qualified Nurse and is re-locating to start her new job for a Berkshire hospital in January.

Jeanette is a fully qualified Staff Nurse who ALWAYS puts others first, and made the brave move in February 2013 to leave all her family and friends behind in Ireland and move to England for work oppurtunities. I met Jeanette ten months ago through an online dating website, and our relationship has grown stronger and stronger every day since! I've seen first hand how NHS nurses work long hours, often with no breaks for very little renummeration - it's actually shocking!

Jeanette starts her new job as a Staff Nurse at a Berkshire hosptital in early January but the costs of the re-location have meant that her first month is a little on the tight side. I've helped as much as I can by helping with her find an appartment close to her new hospital, and funding the initial deposit and first months rent... The place is unfurnished and Jeanette still needs to get a few basics such as bed, wardrobe and food...which she says "she'll make do by sleeping on the floor" for the first month - obviously I can't let this happen(!!)

I would absolutly love to surprise her with a small helping hand this New Year and any funding would be greatly welcomed! If you choose to make a small donation, please can you send a small picture of yourself (or just your name) so I can add it to a 'New Home' card so she can see all those that have donated.

She's completely unaware I'm doing this, and if this works it would bring a such smile to someone who always goes that extra mile for others but rarely thinks about herself.
