Hello
We are Daniella and Lucy and we’re opening Nuff Said in Stroud! Our vision is to create an exciting children's role play village where your little ones imaginations can run wild.
Our mission
Nuff Said is a creative space for children to come together, explore, and have fun - giving them a safe space to play with no boundaries or limitations. We want to offer a stimulating and interactive role play village, allowing children to fully immerse themselves and fuel their imaginations; becoming vets, builders or shopkeepers for the day!
To begin we will run a 'pop up' space in Stroud town center with a range of time slots throughout the day, to allow you to book at a time that suits you. The aim is to run sessions a few days a week in an easily accessible and comfortable venue, whilst serving delicious coffee and cakes.
Our goal is to be open by the autumn just in time for when weather starts to turn that little bit wetter and chillier and we often find ourselves struggling for things to do!
About us
We (Daniella and Lucy) met when our little ones were just a few months old. We instantly connected over our sleepless nights and questionable reality TV choices....Both on maternity leave, we often found it hard to find a kids play session that was available at any time of day and offered something that bit different! Then, one day, an idea was formed and we decided to fill the gap ourselves.
Which brings us to... Nuff Said!
Our vision
We believe that in today's current social climate there is an even greater need to focus on the emotional and creative wellbeing of local families within Stroud.
We would love to create a welcoming and stimulating place for families to come together, that focuses not only on children’s needs but also on parents & caregivers, allowing them some well deserved down time, whilst knowing their children are playing in a safe and happy environment.
As the business grows, alongside the role play village, we would like to offer a range of energising workshops for all ages, ranging from baby sensory classes to workshops for teenagers; allowing them to explore their interests and get creative!
What will the money go towards
- The funds will allow us to source a carpenter to help design and build a unique children's role play village, sit on ice-cream van and all the props.
- Start up costs such as venue hire, van hire and a storage unit.
- DBS checks, paediatric first aid training and insurance.
- Coffee machine to serve delicious coffee alongside a variety of local drinks and snacks.
