Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman at the Brady Arts Centre in East London on the 30th April and 1st May 2016. ARTS FOR ALL!
Purple Moon Drama is a theatre company that supports young people interested in a career in the performing arts, irrespective of socio-econimic status.
The cast range from age 15 – 26 and want to share their energy to create something honest and powerful. We believe in nurturing the young talent in London if they have the drive and commitment.

We are putting on a theatre performance of Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman at the Brady Arts Centre in East London on the 30th April and 1st May 2016. There will be a total of 15 performers and a dedicated stage team working to bring this intense and political story to life. In order to make this production happen, Purple Moon Drama needs to raise £8000 to cover productions costs and to fund bursary placements for some of the young actors.
The target of £8000 will help to cover venue hire, rehearsal space, set, costume, props and training resources for the young people who otherwise would not have the means to partake. The full breakdown is below. Purple Moon Drama believes that offering places to a diverse group of young people, who are committed and creative, will help create work that is meaningful and affective. This initiative not only builds on their self-esteem and confidence, but also draws on their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. The aim is to inspire local audiences with our collobrative energy and message of inclusive collective truth.
Please donate or even better, come and see the show!
