We have been working for a year to establish a partnership for a new Norwich History Festival. This project is now supported by UEA and the National Centre for Writing and a Community Interest Company called Curiosity Events has been set up for the festival. The festival is now planned for July 17th - 25th in Norwich city centre and will be circa 30 events. We are seeking other sources of funding and will have ticket income. This crowdfunder will enable this year's festival to be well publicised with a website and brochure and enable us to pay young creatives to input into that process as well as pay for some more ambitious events.
