Aim

Take NORTH Wrestling on tour, level up production, and train local talent to build the future of British wrestling.

Up in the North, we do things differently.
We’re built differently. Grit isn’t just a word - it’s what we’re made of.

When NORTH Wrestling started in 2016, it was a handful of people in a small Newcastle venue trying to create the kind of wrestling we wanted to see: loud, raw, creative, and full of heart. We didn’t have a production truck or corporate backing. What we had was belief - that pro wrestling could be punk, cinematic, emotional, and real.

From that first night to shows attended by 800+ at the Walker Dome, we’ve built something special. NORTH has become a home for fans and wrestlers alike - a community that’s inclusive, passionate, and utterly unique. Every show feels like stepping into another world: the lights, the chants, the chaos, the feeling that anything could happen.

Over the years, the NORTH faithful have seen everyone from legends like Gangrel and Scotty 2 Hotty to future stars like Leon Slater, Rory Coyle, Man Like Dereiss, Rhio, and Gene Munny. We’ve welcomed talent who now appear across WWE, AEW, TNA, wXw, and NJPW - all on our little stage in Newcastle.

But NORTH has never just been about what happens in the ring.
It’s about people - wrestlers, fans, and crew - all pulling together to build something creative in the North East. Behind the curtain, our team of videographers, designers, commentators, and producers work tirelessly to make every show feel like a cinematic event.

Being on Dragon’s Den was our chance to show the UK what we’ve built. The Dragons didn’t bite - and that’s fine. Because we’ve always been powered by our community!

Now we’re ready for the next step.

With your help, we’ll:

  • Take NORTH on tour, bringing our shows to new towns & cities across the North of England.
  • Level up our production, creating high-quality digital and TV-ready content.
  • Train and mentor local people in wrestling, videography, lighting, and event production - helping build creative opportunities in the North East.

This isn’t just about keeping NORTH alive.
It’s about proving that independent wrestling - made by fans, for fans - can stand shoulder to shoulder with anyone in the world.

The Dragons didn’t bite.
The people will.
