Aim: Walking Slow Ways has contributed to a great life, I want to help more people to share the joy.

Since I walked my first Slow Way - it has become part of my life.  When going somewhere I now think,  "can I walk there," before considering other alternatives. I am fitter than I was before I started walking Slow Ways. I have discovered beautiful bits of nature so close to my home as well as awesome landscapes around the country.  I have enjoyed short walks into town or the shops and an epic journey of nearly 400 miles from London to Gateshead, all with the help of Slow Ways.

So, I’ve decided to take on part of the Slow Ways National Parks Trail this summer. My challenge is to walk 99km (61.6 miles) across Northumberland National Park  from Haltwhistle to Wooler with an option of continuing from Wooler to Jedburgh, just a further 48km or 30 miles!

With help from thousands of people they’ve already created a national walking network connecting every town and city in Britain with over 140,000km of routes.
Now they are fundraising to take it to the next level and that’s why I’m fundraising.

Your donation will help Slow Ways to reach and benefit millions more people by extending their network and building a new website.

Anything you donate will go straight to supporting Slow Ways mission plus you can claim some  great rewards too!
