Fundraising to use the Old Woolhouse (the Black Cat Cafe) as a community warm space while the cafe future is resolved
We believe that in this coming winter, with increased fuel prices, the Old Woolhouse provides a wonderful space for all members of the community especially for the most vulnerable ones. While the future of the building is negotiated, we hope to open it as a warm hub for all members of the community with help yourself hot drinks, managed by volunteers from within the community.
Our initial target is to raise £20,000 to reopen the cafe as soon as possible as a warm hub over the winter months.
The Black Cat Cafe was gifted to the community of Northleach in 2017 and is now owned by Northleach Church and Town Enterprise Community Interest company. The CIC are looking for the best way forward for the cafe and building to safe guard it for the future of the community
