North Lewis War Memorials

The North Lewis War Memorials committee manage the two war memorials in North Lewis and are responsible for organising the Borve and Cross Remembrance services.

The War Memorials in Cross and Borve are over twenty years old. A detailed survey carried out recently, discovered both memorials require extensive remedial work. The cost of this work is in excess of £40,000 which the committee aim to raise through fundraising efforts and grants.

All money donated during this years Remembrance services will go towards the fundraising target so that both memorials can be repaired and preserved, so that North Lewis war losses will be remembered by future generations.
