At the end of the prize draw collection period, all names will be added into one pool and I will use a random number generator to draw out names for each of the prizes at random. I will email the winners and arrange for the prizes to be shipped to you. We apologise, but we are only able to ship items within the mainland UK.
The Cause
The recent storms have had a devastating effect in North Carolina and Tennessee. I grew up in this area and I’m hearing horrific reports, whole towns are gone, people are stranded on tops of mountains because the roads have washed out. Restoring Utilities could be months if not years away in some places. The scale of destruction is incomprehensible. North Carolina is a major hub for studio pottery and many will have lost everything. From one ceramics community to another, we have set up this prize draw in an effort to support them through such a terrible time. The proceeds will go to CERF+ (Craft Emergency Relief Fund) to help the large community of artists and craftspeople to get back on their feet.
About Craft Emergency Relief FundCraft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+) is a non-profit arts service organization with the mission of providing craft artists with support and resources for disaster and emergency relief, education programs, and readiness grants to strengthen preparedness. Committing to generosity, inclusion, and care, we advocate for the thrive-ability of craft artists and craft as an art form. Our programming includes Emergency Relief funding and resources for artists during times of emergency or crisis.
At this time we are accepting craft artist relief applications and donations towards emergency relief efforts. When they are ready, craft artists who were affected are encouraged to reach out to us at [email protected]. For those who are able to help, please consider a donation to CERF+ and feel free to share the following information with both craft artists who are seeking relief resources and those willing to make a donation to help CERF+ and the craft community:
