Aim
We believe no-one should be faced with going hungry. Our fund raising event will help provide nutritional food packages to those in need.
We are the Grey Dippers.
"The Grey Dippers" started as a group of friends, meeting up a few times a week to do some cold water therapy in Ardrossan.
Last year we launched our cold water fundraising campaign in aid of the foodbank, raising much needed funds for the North Ayrshire Foodbank. We raised an astonishing total, over £24K......
The Hub, a Food Bank charity based in Ardrossan, believe that no one should be faced with going hungry, and we fully support this belief.
The Hub provides nutritionally balanced food to those in crisis. The aim is to provide facilities for those who need it.
Lunch and evening meals will be on offer, a creche area is available as well as family relaxation with xbox and video games.
So how can you support us?
As crazy as it sounds we are planning to complete 275 dips from 1st Nov until Boxing day.
Lasy year our target was 200 dips, so 75 more!!!🤪🤪
On Boxing Day we will complete the journey with a Family and Friends dip. Come along, get involved.
It will be extremely difficult, it will be easy to fail, will be extremely cold, and there will be times we want to quit. But we won't give up.
We'll support the Hub, we'll support our community and we really appreciate your help.
