🎶 Exciting News – A New Album Is Taking Shape! 🎶
Hi everyone,
I hope you’re all keeping well. Over the past while, I’ve been gathering ideas, writing new material, and dreaming up what I hope will become my next album. It’s still in the early stages, but the inspiration is flowing and I’m really excited about where it’s heading.
As many of you know, creating an album independently—right from the first notes to the final master—comes with a lot of costs, from studio time and guest musicians to mixing, mastering, artwork, and everything in between. It’s a big undertaking, but one I’m passionate about bringing to life.
So, after a lot of thought (and a gentle nudge from a few of you!), I’ve decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign to help get the project off the ground. If you’d like to support the journey—whether by donating, sharing the link, or simply sending a bit of encouragement—I would be incredibly grateful. Every bit of support, big or small, genuinely makes a difference.

This project will create a high-quality solo album celebrating the musical heritage of the Western Isles. The songs draw on stories, language and landscape from Gaelic culture, while remaining accessible to all audiences across Scotland and beyond. The recording will employ professional Scottish musicians and engineers, keeping skills and economic benefit within Scotland’s creative sector. All contributors will be paid at or above Real Living Wage/Musicians’ Union rates.
