Aim
Ensure nobody goes hungry this christmas. Emergency food requests are surging this winter: we need your help to feed our neighbours in need.
In November of 2025 OMA faced over 250 Emergency Parcel requests for more than 750 people - numbers not seen for the past three years.
As the days get shorter, darker and colder, many will be worrying about when to put the heating on, getting home safe in the dark, or staying well in the face of colds and coughs.
For some, the first worry is even more basic: will there be food on the table tonight?
As poverty and deprivation continues to grow in the city - it's down to us as a community to step up in support of one another. It’s essential that we can continue providing emergency parcels throughout the long cold months.
Without additional resources of increased food and hours, we won't be able to meet this demand. We've already had to close our phone lines several times over the past month due to a lack of supplies and staffing. But, by donating today, you can help us increase our capacity and ensure we can meet every request for support this winter.
